YAHAA
Sunday 11 January 2009 @ 8:15 pm

i hate it when i simply just can get to sleep. i slept at abt 0400 last night and had class at 0800. was planning to sleep straight after class (which ended at around 1130) till perhaps 2.30 ish? just in time to get ready and have lunch w pynnie before 1600 class. BUT NO. came home, got changed, turned on the aircon, rest my bed on the special pillow and my eyes were still wide open for the next 30 mins. so i decided to read a novel just to tire my eyes out, i ended up wasting another 30 mins of my afternoon by reading. but anyway, good news is i actually fell asleep. bad news, for 15 minutes maximum.
my posts are getting more boring nowadays. who the hell wanna read about my sleeping dilemma seriously?
HAHAHAHAHA i just got a phone call:
D : Hello, Can i speak to L W (maks) please?
M: She's actually not around around.
D : Will I be able to leave a message?
M: YAHAA
i actually replied YAHAA. as in the "YAHAA" that I usually say. YES, the overreacting "YAHAA". the one with the exact tone "YA-HAA" that i usually say to friends. the over-enthusiastic "YAHAA". now i cant stop laughing at how dumb it must have sounded!
i was gonna do post pics of the golden globe awards and do the whole best/worst dressed thing but grandma just came home and ive got 4 phone messages for her. during 2 hours, 4 people called the house to look for her -_-

what mattered the most was knowing that the love was mine to give, without strings or expectations

excuse the title, it's corny i know. i got it from a book that i just finished reading, "dear john". i got it before the holidays, and i kinda forgot about it till i was packing for my flight back to Perth. it was just standing there on the untouched bookshelf until i decided to bring it to keep me company on the plane. i shoved it inside my handbag which was on the bedside table the night before the flight. Not being able to sleep (it usually happens when i have to fly the next day), i took the book out to read, to tire my eyes out and hopefully sleep as soon as possible. instead i finished about 3/5 of the book, and slept only for an hour before i had to get ready to leave for the airport. yes, it was that good, trust me on this, im a person who used to loathe reading. the book is written by nicholas sparks, the writer of "the Notebook" and "a walk to remember". i just wonder how writers (especially men) can express their thoughts into such beautiful phrases, sentences, paragraphs.

anyway, the book on the left is one i shall read next. its gonna be those typical Lauren Weisberger's novel i can predict, but this one is set in London. so itd be pretty interesting to read familiar street names i guess? as to compare to the states, a place that ive never been to. im such a saddie, its like everyone has been to america except me. ive never even seen snow in my life? and everytime i asked my parents about america my dad especially, he goes "aiyah u go with your friends. i cannot stand long flights. what about somewhere closer instead? like singapore? or macau? or bangkok?" -_-

ive decided 2009 shall be the year i visit steph. ive promised her for like 3 years now i think? teehee. she even came Perth to visit me before, cmon Perth! a place that is like urm dead. i dont know what she did in her past life to deserve a friend like me (as C phrases it).
damn i just realized its 3, and i wanna be awake by 12 C & I are going to the driving range yeeeha! anyway talking bout golfff, dad and i went on the actualy course when i was in indo!

seriously what a view! breathtaking aint it? thats the whole of bandung right there!

i know that theyre coming prolly at the end of the month, latest next month. and eventhough it has not even been a week since i last saw them, i miss them dearly:(

gdnight kiddoes!
P-PP-PPPPP-Perth!
Sunday 4 January 2009 @ 7:24 pm

back in Perth.

did M attend her 0800-1200 lect/tute? hell yea!
i actually woke up for it (thanks t maks + superloud alarm) and was only 5 mins late. there were around 5 peeps who came in later than me! (yeah i want a medal for that)

class was okay. its so funny cos we had group discussions about
"what's immoral but not illegal"
and people answers were like : abortion, prostitution etc etc
and the second was "what's considered moral but illegal?"
this time, their answers were : taking drugs and weed
u can pretty much have a rough idea of the kinda crowd in the class.

i still havent fin unpacking, of course. in fact im only 30% done. was thinking to finish it today, but what would i do tomorrow and wed then? only two days of class per week, i desperately need a job. BTW, none of the 3 jobs tt I applied have come back to me yet. my cv wasnt that bad? maybe it's because of the economic crisis, or they just dont have any job offers atm. im gonna print out my cv, and shall give it to nearby coffeeshops etc. (one more thing added to my to-do-list which currently is pretty long).

i keep on losing my anz card it pisses me off. i am not exaggerating, ive replaced the card at least 3 times in the past two years. now I have to make another call and tell them that my wallet got stolen or something so that i get a new card which i dont have to pay 15bucks for (cos if u say that u lose it, you have to pay for replacement card, but if u stay that it got stolen, its not like its ur fault teehee). o, another to do list : find bb warranty and get my current one replaced. somethings up with the screen it's annoying.

btw, im glad that everyone is back in ptown. S and Y came back this morning. we shall meet up soon for lunch/dinner/coffee or something yea? i dont know if its because i already accepted the fact that im in Perth and i can't get out of here and fly to hkg to ppmmkk, or the fact that you guys are back, but im definitely not as homesick:) tdy i woke up with a new mindset, and ive actually been keeping up with my 2009 resolution!

okay imma rest now so that i'll be fresh at 3.30, just in time t get ready for my 4pm class!

weird one
Saturday 3 January 2009 @ 5:44 am

everytime i wanna write a proper entry, every single time i end up deleting it.
every single time the entry has reached abt 3-4 lines, i end up canceling it. weird huh?

lets just make this short till i go back to P-town, and let me wish C, Y and S a safe flight back!

enjoy your last few hours/day wherever you are and ill see you back in Perth:)

arggh i hate PerthPacking. It takes so freaking looooong. I started this morn, and i havent even finshed yet. everytime someone pass by me they'll remind me of stuff to bring...

"got the shirt that you bought from blah blah yet?"
"brought your laptop charger yet?"
"golf clubs ready?"
"how bout the camera?"
"how bought your wii? oh and the wii cds?"
"packed your shoes already?"
"toiletries?"

i swear that's probably a tenth of the amount of questions i was asked in like the previous 4 hours. atm im having my very last queen treatment before i go back to the town where i have to do everything by myself. im having 80rp thou pedicure oh yeah! thats around 10 bucks and i am doing it right in the living room ooo yea.

cya goodnight!
