happy 2008!
(haha, highschool is so like, last year!)
reached singapore on saturday morning, went around and omg. ive never seen spore so crowded, its massive madness! usually im vyvy tempted t shop, but not this time. so instead ive been catching up w friends. finally saw my pri-school friends, people i havent seen since i move to perth, which is like 5 yrs ago? and man, they have grown! had lunch at coffeclub and desserts at this place which is similar to coldrock's perth. good to see old friends, lots of catching up, talking about where people are now/what happen to them and laughing to embarassing prischool moments.
today, saw michael. not very often i can sit down in cafe for hours having desserts and two rounds of coffee. so unbelievable how the world is so small, and bandung too of course. anyway, for countdown went to tag along with cristal and her friends in marina bay (not so certain of the place). and it was arrggghhhcrowded! and tomorrow im suppose to meet eepyn at 12 for lunch. good luck to me waking up, its 5.43am now and i didnt have much sleep yesterday either.
anyway, since its the first day of 08 im gonna list new years resolution:
-no last minute studies, therefore automatically, drink less redbull
-not to compare new people with him
-eat well & healthily and perhaps start doing some damn exercise
-be a smartshopper, dont buy unnecessary things, save up for something greater
-get a proper license the proper way/process
-church every sunday not only on easter&christmas
-be a good traveller, only bring what you need to bring, massive luggages are unnecesary
-be more optimistic when judging someone
come back 31dec 08 and hopefully all of them will be crossed of.
uh-oh btw thanks cristal for letting me crash in your place again.
and i know london is next week, but i still hope that syaz can come down to bandung:(

finally settling down with poor old blogger
you have no idea how much time ive spent trying to figure the new settings out.
anyway, i dont even know where to start?
oh! old&new this year in sunnysingapore! finally, time for a change. last sixteen years have been w my family. and anyway, please get me outta this hometown of mine! not discriminating my own town (which when i think about it, kampung is a more appropriate use of word), but man its extremely boring here. dont exactly have friends to hang out regularly, i dont contact my prischl mates cos i guess everything changed and everyones so different and itd just be weird. and anyway, my usual back-to-bandung holiday is for family's sake. but both parents are way too busy this season with work. and so is dear brother. and grandma? shes too busy doing her own things, shes in Korea with her sisters now celebrating xmas&newyrs. so, singapore is good enough despite the crazycrowdmadness happening there.
anyway, after spore ill be off to london vy vy vy soon. and im gonna start making a tobringlist which also remind me that i have to pack for spore cos im leaving at dawn! so anyway the deal is; off to london w mom and will apply for school and bring her sightseeing. ill apply for short courses which is a months long and if i do like it ill continue and finally apply for uni and its okay im not wasting time or anything cos they start arnd mid yr anyway. and if i dont, back to perth baby! both ways is good. london for a change of atmosphere is always a thumbs up but on the low side, its extremely pricey.
so im gonna live with a family friend there in a rented apartment. 2000 pounds per month. and it is quite a tiny apartment and i will def take pictures of it. the exchange rate to indo is around 18000rp to 1pound. and man, it is extremely extremely expensive! to aust is around $2.3. and $5600 aus per month for rent only is not cheap at all.
and i dont mind flying back to perth. ill go to curtin extension (duh with my low tee mark, tts my only option). and eveyrones there. its already so comfortable and settled. so yeah.
so my holidays. how has it been? as mentioned earlier, extremely boring. hongkong was superfun. being with the your close friends in a foreign country (almost no one could speak the language fluently), and not having parents around sure is good. and that is why i hope syaz can come along to sunnysingapore:):)
anyway thats it for now.
dont worry i wont be gone for too long, ill have nothing else to do.
